Create a web application to connect tutors and their students

In context

The Sentiers du Moulin is an outdoor multisport center, located in the municipality of Lac-Beauport in Quebec. Our mission is to provide the sports community from here and elsewhere with a network of trails (winter and summer) worthy of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

Goals

The initial goal was to digitize the passion of the Sentier du Moulin team into a website. We love challenges at Bulldozer, so we embarked on this one.

The challenge

We had a lot of quality media to use, so one of the biggest challenges was making a choice. We also wanted to show the change in activities available according to the seasons. The Sentier du Moulin was very much associated with mountain biking, but we wanted to highlight the other sports available depending on the season.

Strategy

The business objectives of the project were:

  • Generate more sales
  • Make Lac-Beauport shine
  • Become a destination

Following an initial analysis, the priorities were:

  • Align the vision of leaders
  • Establish brand positioning
  • Update the brand image
  • Establish a content strategy
  • Promote novelties
  • Develop derivative products to promote the brand

The website had to allow the efforts of the marketing team to be centralized. We have designed the features to make it as easy as possible for visitors to find information.

In order to create an optimal experience for users, we have developed the following features:

  • Real-time weather display
  • Real-time track status display
  • Segmentation of sports to simplify the search for information
  • Creating an online store with Snipcart
  • Presentation of the activities available on the site such as catering

Results

Significant increase in the number of visits to the Sentier du Moulin following the redesign of the website.
